I am an Applied Scientist at Amazon with a proven track record of applying deep learning agorithms to solve real-world problems. Prior to that, I was a staff Machine Learning Engineer at PayPal. I work on deep learning models, currently focusing on transfer learning, multilingual learning, multi-task learning for product classifications of e-commerce catalogs. I am passionate about using my expertise to drive innovations and improve business outcomes. I obtained my Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from Penn State University. I was working with Prof. Daniel Kifer and Prof. Zhenhui Li on machine learning algorithms in outlier detection & explanation, differential privacy and computational social science.
